Summer 2010:

It’s never too early to form teams and start working on the 2011 ASME Student Design Competition.  Release your inner engineer this summer with H2Go: The UntappedEnergy Source? ASU ASME Elections

by Administrator on Apr 9th, 2010

Officer elections open on April 10th via the internet.  Please consider applying for any of our officer positions for the 2010-2011 year with a short statement on why you’re the right person for the job.  You do not need to have prior ASME leadership experience to apply (with the exception of the Chair position).  We look forward to bringing in new talents to the officer team and look forward to your application!

3rd ASME Meeting

by erin eppard on Apr 4th, 2010
Hello everyone,
Just a quick reminder that this Tuesday, April 6th, we’ll be having our 3rd and final ASME general for the semester!  It will be in GWC 487 at 6:00 PM with a catered pasta dinner and an ice cream social afterward.  Honeywell is our featured guest speaker, a company that has a broad range of products from consumer goods to aerospace systems and other engineering services.
Honeywell is a “Fortune 100 company that invents and manufactures technologies to address tough challenges linked to global megatrends such as safety, security, and energy. With approximately 122,000 employees worldwide, including 19,000 engineers and scientists, Honeywell has an unrelenting focus on quality, delivery, value, and technology in everything they make and do.”
Come learn about the opportunities available for mechanical engineers in companies such as Honeywell, and hear Mike Barton and Mike Bevans give a talk on dynamic work environments, aerospace systems, and where you might find your place in Honeywell!
Hope to see you there!
We welcome everyone!
